Kein Zugrif auf FTP-Server

Hallo ,
ich brauchte für Testzwecke dringend FreeBSD.
Leider erhalte ich egal auf welche FTP-Site ich zugreife (per Internet
Explorer) folgende Fehlermeldungen:
"FTP-Folder Error"
"An error occured reading the contents of the folder. Make sure the
filename is valid and you have permision to access the location specified"
"Detailed Error" -"Operation timed out"
User : anonymous

Ping auf die jeweilige Site funktioniert.

In DOS Mode "FTP open " kommt die Meldung "Connection timed out"
