Kernel zones unter Solaris

Hallo,

pure Neugier: Wie funktionieren Solaris' "Kernelzonen"?

patch levels across different zones while maintaining the simplicity of
zones management."

Ich frage mich, wie das funktioniert.. Ein Patch kann ja wohl "überall" im
System sein, und wie bekommt denn eine Zone den "richtigen Kernel"?
